Light intensity
Light is one of the most critical factors for aquarium plants. With no light source, the plants cannot photosynthesise hence decrease in growth.
There can be different types of lighting.
0.25 Watts per Liter = Low Lighting
0.50 Watts per Liter = Medium Lighting
0.80 - 1.0> Watts per Liter = High Lighting
The required light temperature different within each aquarium plant. Some have low demands for light while others have a high need for light.
Higher light required plants affect other factors such as fertilisation and CO2 addition.
( As plants grow quicker under hight lighting intensity which increase the absorption of CO2 and nutrients
CO2 level
The ideal CO2 level is 8-10 parts per million
Carbon dioxide level is essential for plant growth
High CO2 Level however can lower the pH level

Temperature
The optimum temperature of aquarium plant varies between species
However, most aquarium plant strives around temperate between 21°c to 26°c
