Print Step 2 ClearChoice Final Report for Vendor (Request List for KSR's) # DBF File created to send to Vendor.
From "Vehicles in Lien" use button to print Auction Lists (Notice on Pending Sale form for Section 3072 (Short), and Section 3071 for (Long). Display Auction Lists at Lobby and website. #
Go to Vehicles in Lien to set Sale Date: Select Actions and click on corresponding link. Setting Sale Date will automatically change the $35.00 Lien Sale Process Fee to $70 on the Invoice under Lien Sale Process Fee. NOTE: All Pending Liens default to Short #
AFTER VEHICLE SOLD IN AUCTION Go to Vehicles in Lien to record Sale Amount in the Lien Form is completed. The system will automatically calculate the fees owed to Hollywood Tow: Towing, Storage, and Lien Process Fee ONLY. The excess is distributed by Hollywood Tow in this order: 1. Any City or DOT fees and 2. balance, if any, to DMW . If short sale (<4k) the lien fee remains at $70. If long sale (>4K) the lien fee changes to $100 gets recorded automatically on record. ALSO, the VRF fee is automatically removed from record. NOTE: Buyer of vehicle pays the 10% storage tax.
The record reflects SOLD, the invoice is zeroed out, and the Sale Amount is recorded on log# record.

Print Step 1 ClearChoice Worksheet for internal OPG Use. If edits need to be made, go to the main page Search Button, find the record, and edit the record. Reprint Report.
- Search by Log# or by Date
- Appraisal/Value Defaults to SHORT. Click on EDIT button to 1. Enter reason from a drop-down menu to explain why vehicle is being sold at <$4k. OR 2. Change Appraisal/Value to LONG (>$4K). Santiago will provide list.
- Select PROCESS LIEN to move record to Vehicles in Lien
- Complete form and include Legal Owner Notification Fee (LONF, if applicable), which is at the discretion of employee. This will move record from "Pending Liens" to Vehicles Liens and will automatically add $35.00 to the Invoice under Lien Sale Process Fee (1/2 of the SHORT Fee). It will also automatically add the LONF to the Invoice. NOTE: All Pending Liens default to Short #

- CLEARCHOICE Vendor Processes Paperwork with DMV to verify vehicle owner info
- CLEARCHOICE Verification form sent back from vendor to Hollywood Tow
- HOLLYWOOD TOW verifies on the Pending Liens Records to determine which vehicles are still in storage and prints another Step 2 ClearChoice Final Report #
- HOLLYWOOD TOW sends new Process Lien Sheet form to Vendor.
- CLEARCHOICE Vendor sends Owners Notification of Pending Sale
- HOLLYWOOD TOW Admin Inventories lot 3 times/week to value/estimate vehicles.
- HOLLYWOOD TOW Admin selects Lien Process (See green path for details)
- HOLLYWOOD TOW prints Auction Lists (Notice on Pending Sale form for Section 3072 (Short), and Section 3071 for (Long). Display Auction Lists at Lobby and website.

Vehicles with over 72 Hrs in storage populate the Pending Liens record. Vehicles with "Evidentiary Holds" DO NOT appear on this list until the Hold is removed. Vehicles with other types of "Holds" are eligible for lien process and remain on this list.
