Reviews
Gateway review. Opportunity to look back and check that you've done what you'd said you'd do. Are you ready to move forward? Need to involve project board members and sponsor. Happens at end of each phase of Project lifecycle.
Post project review. What lessons? WWW EBI. What are the benefits? Is there a benefits realisation plan?
Benefits realisation reviews. Benefits may change over time and there may a plan to check them. Usually the operations manager does these.
Peer review. A fresh pair of eyes. Teamwork problems - call in a an L&D expert. Technical review... Usually someone at the same level as the PM.
Audits. Someone will come in a do a painstaking review of all work. E.g. if you created a plan, are you following it? Have you done what you said you would?
