Process
Pomodoro Technique
Increases Focus and Attention span
and introduces Power Breaks for students to recharge or absorb the lesson
Steps
- Decide on the task to be done.(Write in on paper) or verbally tell the task to the class
- Set the pomodoro timer (traditionally to 25 minutes).
-
- End work when the timer rings and put a checkmark on a piece of paper.
- If you have fewer than four checkmarks, take a short break (3–5 minutes), then go to step 2.
- After four pomodoros, take a longer break (15–30 minutes), reset your checkmark count to zero, then go to step 1.
-
The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks
