SOFTWARE APPLICATION
Application software is a program or group of programs designed for end users. These programs are divided into two classes: system software and application software.
System software consists of low-level programs that interact with computers at a basic level, application software resides above system software and includes applications such as database programs, word processors and spreadsheets. Application software may be bundled with system software or published alone.

COMPUTER PROGRAM
Computer program in the form of the human-readable, computer programming language is called source code. Source code may be converted into an executable image by a compiled or executed immediately with the aid of an interpreter.
Advantage:
Developing an appropriate solution that performs some task at hand, as you may not have produced the best solution in your first attempt
Disadvantage
The computer programs run slower than when compiled because the interpreter must decode each statement each time it is loaded and then perform the desired action.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Software engineering is a detailed study of engineering to the design, development and maintenance of software.

Software engineering is typically used for large and intricate software systems rather than single applications or programs. Development, however, is simply one phase of the process. While a software engineer is typically responsible for the design of systems, programmers are often responsible for coding its implementation.
SOFTWARE PROJECT
A Software Project is the complete procedure of software development from requirement gathering to testing and maintenance, carried out according to the execution methodologies, in a specified period of time to achieve intended software product.
PROJECT MANAGER
A project manager is an individual who is responsible for the planning, organization, resource management, and discipline pertaining to the successful completion of a specific project or objective. This position may refer to a temporary endeavor containing an end coinciding with the end of the assigned project, but can also be a semi- permanent or permanent position.
MODULE LEADER
Module leaders are ultimately responsible for academic leadership, management and assessment, for the modules they have been designated to lead on.
