        tested a system developed by Picavi (Pick-by-Vision) in which 15 operators used a pair of Google Glasses to pick and store products; the glasses display the picking order one item at a time and after picking the required item the operator scans its barcode, so that the next item in the order is displayed.
        Once the order is completed, the operator scans the barcode in the storage area and proceeds to work on the next order.
        Barcode scanning is used as a confirmation mechanism.

        When arriving on-site the operator is sent the work order via the smart glasses, together with indications about the exact location of the equipment needing maintenance.
        Google Glass displays the instructions, schematics, help videos and live data to help operators doing their work and they can also make remote calls for help to an expert who can see what the operator is looking at through the camera.
