Trigominal Ganglion, is located on the anterior surface of the petrous part of the temporal bone,
Ophthalmic nerve (Sensory). Arises in middle Cranium fossa. Runs through Lateral Wall of Cavernous Sinus and exits through Superior Orbital Fissure
Frontal nerve, (Sensory) innervates. Frontal, Forehead & Ethmoid sinus.
-
Supraorbital nerve (Sensory) innervates toward the forehead upper eyelid, along with anterior scalp.
Lacrimal nerve (Sensory) innervates. to the Lacrimal gland, lateral part of the upper eyelid.
-
Nasociliary nerve, (Sensory) innervates Upper Eyelid, Nasal cavity & Paranasal sinuses.
Infratrochlear nerve, this nerve innervates the medial eyelid, lateral part of the nose.
-
Anterior ethmoidal nerve (Sensory) innervate, Nasal Cavity.
External and internal nasal nerves, This sensory type nerve innervates both the skin of the exterior part of the nose and interior walls nasal cavity.
Posterior ethmoidal nerve, (Sensory) innervates on the lateral part of the nose & on the inner contuse of the eye.
Maxillary nerve (Sensory) Runs through Lateral Wall of the Cavernous Sinus and exit through the Foramen Rotundum.
-
Greater and lesser palatine nerves (Sensory) innervates. Incisors, Cananies & Molar (maxillary)
-
-
Zygomatic nerve (Sensory) innervates. Lowe Eyelid, Zygomatic bone,
-
-
Pterygopalatine ganglion; This ganglion serves as a relay station for parasympathetic nerves that arise within the facial nerve.
Mandibular nerve (Sensory & Motor) exits through the Foramen Ovale of the Sphenoid bone. Motor, provides innervation for the
muscle of Mastication
Auriculotemporal nerve (Sensory) innervates. External Ear, Scalp, and temporomandibular joint.
-
-
-
Buccal nerve (Sensory) innervates. Buccal mucosa, Buccal Periodontium and Gingiva of the mandibular molars.
