Furniture
Common features
-
Gel Stain: Much more even stain, does not run like liquid stain. In addition, I will cover the whole thing in a clear coat.
-
Stain Control: Used as a base coat for the stain, used to even out any colors in the wood or the putty color on the piece.
Cabinet Part
Fastening
Tongue and Groove and glue: Does not require nails, so it looks nicer. In addition, the glue is much stronger than the wood itself, so its not going to fall apart as easy
Screws and glue: Uses screws to hold main pieces of wood together. Glue is used to strengthen the bond.
-
Door handles: This does not affect the the longevity of the cabinet, or the quality.
Other Pieces
Fastening: Metal brackets and glue: Hold the shelves at a perfect 90 degree from the sides. Glue is still used to hold them together.

Wood
Particle Board
