PEOPLE MOBILITY
IDEAS BY GREEK STUDENTS
In fact, city mobility makes 40% of all CO2 emissions of road transport
So, we ask for a Mobility Service where we could have an easy and environmentally friendly travel
We should consider using more public transport, car-sharing, and car pooling.
Dear EU
The challenge for European cities is how to improve people mobility while at the same time to have less traffic jams, accidents and pollution.
You should think about building more bicycle lanes and streets for pedestrians, so there will be less traffic jams and air pollution
You should fund programmes in all big cities about people oriented transport and mobility, like the programme “Cities for People” (in Oxford,U.K.; Hamburg, Germany; Trikala,Greece;Budapest,Hungary; Istanbul,Turkey).
Last but not least, disabled people have a right to move around freely. So, you should build wider pavements and make all public transport and buildings easy to get in for disabled people.
IDEAS BY GERMAN STUDENTS
Rural areas need to be connected better, so that people there aren’t excluded and do no longer depend on private cars.

But people mobility is more than just transport, it’s also one of the main rights of a European citizen.
Dear EU,
It is good that you try to enhance people mobility in all member states; but more mobility leads to more environmental problems.
We rely on you keeping these chances up for us, no matter what some haters want to change.
Whatever member state we are born in, we have the right to learn. live and work in any of the other countries in the EU.
