Lend Lease
America supplied their allies with supplies and then would be paid back after the war only if it hadn't been destroyed. $50.1 billion worth of goods was shipped.
Supplies like arms, food, medicine and other equipment was sipped to fight against the Nazis and the Japanese.
Although, America wasn't getting paid until the war was over it boosted the economy and the impact increased even further when America joined the war.

Social developments
Women
As the men went to fight, women took over their jobs.
1/3 aircraft workers were women
1/2 electronics workers were women
60% of plant managers said women were the best workers.
Nearly 200,000 joined the armed forces

African Americans
Over 1 million black soldiers joined or were conscripted into the armed forces (many were still limited to menial tasks)
By the end of 1944, around 2 million were working in factories producing war materials.
After the war, the main organisation campaigning for equal rights, NAACP, rose from 50,000 to 500,000
Exports
The Lend Lease act increased exports massively as America was constantly shipping equipment to their allies throughout the war.
The increase in exports of food, increased the production in farms solving their economic crisis after the depression.
The more America exported supplies, the higher the income they got, making America wealthy and solving their economic crisis.
