Why specific roles are interdependent
Performance Roles
Musicians work together with composers
A composer might write a song for a musician which the musician will perform with or without the composer depending on how well known they are or if the are an artist as well
Recording Roles
Producers work together with recording engineers, artists and session musicians
They all work together during the recording stage, the producer will ensure the whole production and recording will go to plan, they might be the ones who hire session musicians or they might be recording engineers themselves, the artists need a producer in order to create a single or an album
Media Roles
Music Journalists work together with Broadcasters
A music journalist will write music criticism and will send it to the broadcast studio who can use it to talk about news in the music industry
Production
The mastering engineer will work together with the producer
Once the tracks have been recorded the mastering engineer will make sure they will sound good in all formats, rarely the producer might be a mastering engineer as well but most of the time the producer will also check what the mastering engineer has done and then send the product off so it can actually be made
Management and Promotion
Promoters work together with Venue Managers
Promoters have to agree on how much they'll get payed when they talk to a Venue manager, they'll also work together as the promoter might get info about the venue from the venue manager
Transport Companies and Hire Companies
A band or artist may hire equipment from a hire company, the hire company might already have vehicles to transport the equipment but they might also work together with a transport company to deliver the equipment to the correct place or to transport it around if the band or artist is on tour

Dangers of miscommunication
Planning and scheduling problems
Maximising use of resources
Speed of change
Everything from instruments to trends changes quickly in the music industry, it might be due to technology but also because of other factors. Many music industry jobs rely heavily on each other to make sure the work they do stays relevant and can make money with the target audience.
For example, the media might influence producers to follow specific trends as they'll known they can make money from those, the producers might change the way an artists music sounds so that the target audience will like it meaning that the artist can still stay relevant
