Girls
Between 14 to 17 need 2,300 to 2,400 a day. They need 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. They shouldn't fill up on too much sugar and fatty foods. They need starch based foods such as pasta, rice and bread.
Males
Between 14 to 17 need 2,600 to 3,000 a day. Males eat more than females. they will have more fatty foods such as burgers or pizza. They will also need plenty of carbs and protein

Teens need plenty of carbs. The

When they eat
Teens should eat 3 meals a day
with snaks in-between.
They should eat first thing in the morning,
middle of the day and at the end of the day.
The snaks should be in the morning and the
afternoon.
