MEETING GOALS
GROUPS 1 & 2. BOTH GROUPS ENGAGE IN HANDS-ON ACTIVITY
Activity: Fluid Motion Objective: Observe and record the viscosity of different types of fluid and see how it affects the motion of an object.
Materials: 2 jars same size, two marbles oil, water, ruler, stop watch.
The two groups will be given different sizes marbles. They would be asked to fill out a 4-column table and present an compare findings.
Activity is especially appropriate for Janine and Kristen, since it facilitates Kristin's need for hands-on and Jenine's need for visual representation.

ELL - Tiered Activities
To accommodate Imogene, the activity would be done in on an elevated surface.
To help Garrett keep focused, he would be responsible to demonstrating the weak and strong motions with the car.
On completion of activity, students must present their findings to class.
