Depends on collisions, which can be increased with heat. The more particles there are, the more collisions

Force
An action that modifies the movement of an object (by causing it to accelerate, slow down, change course, or stop), or that causes the shape of an object to change
Can be produced by action or by gravity. The greater the mass, the stronger the force.

Can be:
Gas: compressible, spaced-out particles. Volume can change because space between particles can vary.
Liquid: incompressible, particles closer together than gasses but still fluid. Incompressible because the particles are already very close together so volume doesn't change.

Natural Mechanisms
-
The inspiration and expiration of air (breathing in/out) where the volume of the lungs changes, allowing the air to pass in and out.
