Project Management Issues
Poorly defined goals.
Poorly defined goals can lead to multiple issues during the project's lifetime. If goals are not clearly defined and well understood by the team the final product will be lacking or expected results may not be met.
Changing external factors
If factors external to the project change, for example the consumer requirements, Then it can greatly effect the outcome and how successful the project is. In some instances the project my need to start again.
Monitoring progress and taking corrective action where necessary
Monitoring progress in most cases is relatively simple in concept and for the most part, it is fairly simple. However when things are not progressing as they should the need to make changes in the project arises. This can in most cases be very difficult, because we need to consider all the possible changes that can be made, the risks associated with them and then come to a decision on which changes we want to make and how to apply them. When done effectively this can bring a project back from the brink of failure or alternatively be the straw that breaks the camels back.
