Cornea
Tough and clear, to protect eye

Pinhole cameras
Images are upside-down because in order for light to pass through the hole and reach the back of the camera it must be opposite of how the image will form
If the pin-hole is too small, then the image will be sharp, but there won't be enough light.
If it's too big, the image will be bright but it'll be blurry
-
Convex lens focuses light, concave spreads out light

Reflection & Refraction
When light goes from a less optically dense medium (like air) into a more optically
dense medium (like plastic), it slows down, and bends towards the normal line.
Total Internal Reflection when light hits the boundary of a material and is just about to enter a lower density material at or beyond the critical angle so it refracts its direction so much that the light cannot escape and it reflects back into the higher density material.

In the absence of light, a shadow forms
For example, an object blocks off the sunlight from reaching a plant

Sound
Amplitude
-
The bigger the amplitude is, the louder the sound is and vice versa
Wavelengths
-
The wider it is, the lower-pitched the sound is, and vice versa

Dispersion
We can disperse light by putting it through a prism and the light rays are bent at different amounts.
