Developing proposals
-
Make a strong claim that addresses the problem/ need. Your solution should be an action directed at the future.
Offer a fix/ solution that begins with your claim (what someone should do), adds reasons for actions by someone), and include effects/ results of adopting the proposal
Claim (proposal), reason (for the proposal), effects (results), evidence (proof the proposal will work), warrant (accepted understanding),
Reason sets up the need for proposal. Warrant and Evidence show that proposal is just and could meet its objective
Proposal is needed because of this reason, and the proposal is good and viable/ likely to succeed because of the evidence and warrant.
