rainforest water cycle
The rainforests nutrients cycle is quick. The hot damp conditions allow the dead plant material to decompose rapidly. This provides rich nutrients which are absorbed by the plants, however these are in high demand they dont stay in the soil long and stay close to the surface
As the temperature heats up, the water evaporates and forms clouds for the next days rain

-
water cycle- Roots take up the water from the soil and the rain is intercepted as it falls-much of it at the canopy layer

development projects
-
The rate of deforestation is massive, rainforests are home to millions of species and hundreds go extinct every day
The trans Amazonian is vital to the development projects because it connects all the projects with roads

Rainforests such as the Amazon, lie near the equator. This means the suns rays are more concentrated in these regions and this produces convectional rain.
Convectional rain happens in typical hot climates: -> convection occurs after morning sunshine heats warm moist air -> clouds form in the afternoon and rain falls-> ideal conditions for plants to grow
sustainable practices-sustainable logging / rubber tapping / ecotourism and conservation = preserving the environment for future generations rather than exploiting it for short term gain
Also in the continent are Panama, Ecuador and Chile
