Equations
Gravitational Potential Energy= Ep=mgh. Ep= Energy in joules
m=mass(Kg)
g= Gravitaional feild strength

Energy Stores
-
Chemical Energy= Its transferred during chemical reactions. You find it in fuels or the chemicals found in battery
Gravitationa potentail energy=It is used to describe the energy stored in an object because of its postition(objects above ground) eg:kite
Elastic potential energy= The energy stored ina asring objet when you strech or squash it eg: Elastic Band
-
Specific Heat Capacity
The specific heat capacity of a subtance is the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of one kilogram of the subtance by one degree celsius.

Fossil Fuels
Aren't renewable. At the moment it is reliable however it's running out quiet quickly. It has a bad impact on the environment as when they burn they release harsh chemicals like carbon dioxide into the earth's atmosphere. Fossil Fuels are used for electricity
Solar
Solar is renewable and it will go away so it's reliable. It has no harmful impact on the environment as it doesn't release any harmful chemicals. However they are very expensive and don't hold the energy that it gets.
Nuclear
Is renewable and reliable. It has a good impact because it can be very clean however if something happens then the impact can be disastrous for the area
Wind
Is renewable and reliable.Environment wouldn't be badly impacted as fossil fuels would be howver itcan take up land that animlas would live on.
Geothermal
It's renewable and reliable however it depends on where you live in the world. It's impact on the ther environment is ok as it can be worse but it can also be better. Geothermal is used for heating and can produce electricty for turbines

Conductors
-
-
The higher the thermal conductivity of a material, the higher rate of energy transfer through it
The thicker a layer of insulating material, the lower rate of energy transfer through it

Solar, wind, tidal, geothermal and biofuel are examples of renewable energy, however things like coal,oil,gass and nuclear aren't renewable.
