What is Cancer?
-
When cells do not respond to signals of cell growth, the cell keeps dividing which results in a tumour. When theses cells with gene mutation travels along the blood vessel (Metastasis) to other area of the body causing it to spread. These are called cancer tumours.

cancer
cdk and cyclin if not cannot proceed to S phase which means that DNA replication cannot happen woohoooooo
tumour suppressor proteins are proteins in normal cells that prevent the cyclin to bind to cdk when more cells are not needed
-
in G1, cyclin accumulate in the cell

Avoidance of Cell Death
Old cells go through a process called apoptosis, or cell death, when cells are dividing in an abnormal way
Cancer cells can avoid death signals triggered by their abnormal behavior which also leads to growth of tumour
