the witches tell Macbeth and Banquo the prophecies "look how our partners warp"
Lady Macbeth reads Macbeth's letter of what the witches told him, Macbeth returns home with news the king will stay at their castle
Lady Macbeth welcomes Duncan and his followers "unsex me here"
Macbeth leave the dinner with Duncan worried of he is going to do but Lady Macbeth stirs up his spirits again
Duncan announces that Malcolm will be the next king "stars hide your fires light not light see me deep and dark designers "
