George is the smart one, and the small one of the two. He cares about Lenny and wants to include him in his future plans, but that is challenging.

Lenny is mentally challenged, wich cause some problems for him and George. He is dependent on George. Lenny is also huge.

Candy is a kind old man. He works at the farm, and he has one arm.

Relationships

The boss owns the farm, and is really strict and mad.

Curley is the boss's son. He treats George and Lenny unfairly, and is also acting like an idiot towards them.

Curly's wife is the only female on the farm. She doesn't seem faithfull towards her husband.

Lenny and george: They are good friends. George takes care of Lenny. Lenny is dependent on George.

George would feel bad about leaving Lenny, thus to being friends with him for a long time. Lenny couldn't take care of himself.

Curley and Curley's wife: Maybe Curley's wife is behaving unfaithfully towards him because he treats her bad. Thus to being the only female on the farm, the only relationships she forms and the attention she gets, is do to flirting with other men. She feels lonely.

An example of this is when George was in the barn, and then Curley's wife came in and started flirting with him. She told George to stop with what he was doing to talk with her-seeking attention

Plot

  1. Lenny and George escapes from "weed", do to an incident with a girl.
  1. Later, they decide to find work at a new farm to earn some money.
  1. When they arrive at the new workplace they first get introduced to the boss and old man Candy.

Lenny and George's dream

They wanted a place for themselves. A barn with farmanimals and plants. A peaceful place where they could be alone.
