BA (HONS) Short Film Making (SFM)
The course
- Offers experience in filming and editing that's needed for the workshop leader
Alumni
- Honors short film making alumni will most likely go into employment in the industry
Entry requirements -
18 years of age with 80 UCAS points and applicants whose first language is not English – proof of IELTS overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all sections (reading, writing, listening & speaking) is required.
Performing Arts Level 2 (PA LV2)
The course
- You have workshops throughout the year of differing performance subjects for example a panto in a day as well as having projects where you do performances or crewing for performances this gives you experience of the industry and other workshops to have ideas on what to do
Alumni
- The performing arts level 2 alumni often move onto the level 3 performing arts as is common to do the level 2 first to get a basic understanding
Entry requirements
- 4 GCSE's at level 2 or above and an audition of an at least 2 minute monologue of a published playwright or at least 2 minute song from a published musical as well as a writing task
Performing Arts Level 3 (PA LV3)
The course
- It goes further into the performing arts industry over a course of 2 years and goes into more detail of how to be a better performer than LV2 this gives you more experience of the industry and other workshops to have ideas on what to do
Alumni
- The performing arts level 3 alumni often go onto either university or honers for performing arts
Entry requirement
- 5 GCSE's at level 2 or above and an audition of an at least 2 minute monologue of a published playwright or at least 2 minute song from a published musical as well as a writing task
University of Hertfordshire (UH) - Hatfield
Social Enterprise Leadership Foundation Programme (SELF)
The course
- Is a university course where you have opportunity to plan for festivals and other large scale events outside or inside offering the planning needed for a Workshop leader with teaching the differences and similarity's between leading and managing, experience in leading in teams, leading through coaching as well as leading and change that happens.
Alumni
- University of Hertfordshire Social Enterprise Leadership Foundation Programme alumni go on to do event scheduling or management
Entry requirements
- You need to pay an entrance fee of £500 and are currently working in the third sector - charities, social enterprise and non-profit organisations as well as have at least three years' work experience, either in third sector or elsewhere and finally are currently working as a team leader or in a management role, or are aspiring to move into a supervisory role
