Project 3 Outline
Paragraphs addressing counterarguments
Introduction
Appeal to the things that parents have in common with each other
They want what is best for their kids
They all struggle with how to be good parents
All of their children have misbehaved at one time or another and needed to be disciplined
Paragraphs supporting my side
Learn violence. Effect later life and relationships. Transition teaching violence instead of lessons is ineffective.
Parent/Child relationships. Transition by relating bad relationships to learning that violence is okay.
Conclusion
Acting out of anger instead of teaching a lesson is damaging and counterproductive. Transition into counter argument of not everyone is damaged.
There is always an alternative, especially when it comes to protecting kids who can't protect themselves. Transition into how these divisions between ideas could be resolved.
Not everyone is damaged by being spanked, but some people are. Transition into how there is sometimes no alternative.
