I will face a challenge with making my film trailer as I will have a lack of special effects and special editing.I will have a lack of special effects and special editing as I am using a low budget and I will not be able to afford special systems allowing me to use better special effects and better editing tools.I will also have a lack of special effects and special editing tools as the facilities I am using to edit and add special effects to my trailer only has basic special effects and basic editing tools.

Low budgets will be a challenge to create a professional looking film trailer as I will have to do my actors makeup myself and I will have to use normal makeup to do my actors makeup as my budget will not allow me to buy special makeup to do my actors makeup therefore my actors will not look as professional as they could do.As I have a low budget,I will only be able to buy cheap props such as fake blood therefore it may not look as realistic and my trailer will not look as professional.

As I want to do a horror film for my movie trailer and my potential target audience is aged fifteen +,I can not make my trailer too scary or gruesome because my target audience starts from quite a young age,the younger ages of my audience may get scared or disturbed.

A suitable trailer for my target audience would be a mildly scary trailer that is also not too gruesome.

The Book (A fantasy horror film) - A girl realises she can bring characters from books to life if she says the characters name.The girl finds a book about her life and accidentally brings the person who kills her to life.

Lights Off - A group of teenagers visit a haunted house.Strange things happen in the house and every time the lights turn off in the house somebody gets murdered.The teenagers must find a way to get out of the house.

One Way Out (A horror film) - A group of people wake up in a strange place tied up and not knowing where they are.The people must perform a series of hard,painful tasks to be let out.

Find Me (A crime horror film) - A family move into their new house.After a while the family find a strange diary belonging to a murderer in their attic.The murderers diary shows murders of everyone who's ever lived in the house.The family must solve the crime and find out who the murderer is before the murderer murders them.
