Wayfinding at Baycrest
A Coggle Diagram about Objective/Goal of Design, Target Audience (Patients at Baycrest, Anne Marie PM @ Baycrest, Visitors of Baycrest and Employees of Baycrest), Available Materials (Extensive amount of research on permanent wayfinding systems, Professors:
Jules Goss Baycrest SME
Richard Hunt: typography, Baycrest itself, we're allowed to go back and explore and Prototyping: we have a studio), Scope of Project (Baycrest, Statement: To target and prioritize disruptions to wayfinding within the main complex of Baycrest by comparing and contrasting academic research with our own, such as stakeholder interviews or site visit observations. We will target wayfinding as a system, where disruptions are seen to affect the whole (rather than look at individual parts, e.g. temporary vs. permanent).
The resulting findings will be used to consider three possible solutions, including but not limited to (a) designing a cohesive disrupted wayfinding package that compliments existing wayfinding, (b) designing a service program for volunteers, (c) implementing a novel, technological framework using devices or (d) a combination of any of the above. and Cannot redesign the physical structure) and Budget/Schedule (Course Schedule and Budget unknown?)
