The Robot is used in the military to rescue and deliver supplies to soldiers.It has full freedom of the legs allowing him to jump over obstacles.It has 14 flexible joints allowing it to bend its legs like a living cheetah would. 
Combined with the unique algorithm and all the other sensors in place, the cheetah-bot can run and avoid oncoming obstacles all on its own, adjusting to new information in about half the time of a single stride and determining how much force its 12 electric motors will need to deliver to its 3D printed legs to clear any hurdles.
This robots task that it performs are when it's fully built it will be used in disaster response and rescue.
In the future, the robot will be used for disaster response and it's mechanics are going to be used for prosthetics and getting over rough terrain.

The impact this cheetah will have on its audience is big. It has already surprised many of its intended audience just by being able to jump over obstacles and how fast its able to run.
