Claws and paws
Cheetahs has non retractable claws almost like dog claws, to give it a lot of grip when running. Unlike the cheetah the pads of most cats paws are soft, but the cheetahs paws are hard and flat. Almost like the rubber on the tire.
The cheetahs tail is kind of like a rudder. It shifts its tail from side to side to give a better torque in the direction that it wants to go and shifts the momentum to the needed direction. Letting it change directions at high speeds.
The spine of the cheetah is very flexible. It increases the cheetah's speed because it's flexibility allows it to take longer stride lengths.
The cheetah has an over sized heart which pumps huge amounts of blood, It's large lungs and nostrils allow it to have fast air intake at a short period of time when running.
Tear lines
Cheetahs have tear marks from the inside corners of their eyes down to the edges of their mouth. The marks helps it reflect the glare of the sun when they are hunting during the day. It works like the black marks that football players put under their eyes during games.
Black spots
Extra long eyes
The cheetah has spots because the spots act as camouflage. It helps the cheetah blend more effectively into the grasslands and stalk and catch prey better. Not only is its fur spotted, its skin is too.
The cheetah's eyes are extra long so it can get fast, wide angle view of their surrounding at top speed.
Breeding
Cheetahs reproduces at a very slow rate and it is a huge concern. The males often suffer from a low reproduction of sperm. So even when they do mate there isn't always a high chance of a young being created. Cheetahs reach reproductive age between 20 and 24 months. They breed throughout the year. Gestation last about 3 months resulting a litter of 4 to 6 cubs.
Mating
Female cheetahs can mate with several males. Cheetahs form no sign of bonds and they mate freely with members of the opposite sex during anytime of the year. The males only associate with the females for mating only and provide no parental care. Cheetahs mate about 3 to 5 times per day, mostly with different individuals.
Cubs
Cheetah cubs are born blind and helpless. They do not open their eyes until 4 to 11 days after birth and they do not walk until 12 to 13 days after birth. They feed on their mothers milk between 3 to 6 months old, But stays with their mother until 15 to 17 months old. The are born with a thick grey mane on its head, shoulders and backs, but it fall off as it gets older. Disappearing after 3 months of birth.
The cheetah's diet consists of gazelles, impalas, wildebeest calves and smaller hoofed animals in it's habitat.
Skill
Running
The cheetah can reach a speed of 110 to 120 km/h in short bursts. It's slender body, flattened rib cage, small head and long thin legs help minimize the air resistance. I only weighs about 57 kg so it's muscles don't have much to carry.
